As far as market conditions are concerned, there is no better time to purchase a home in this area than now. Bolstered by the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) initiative, nearly 20,000 jobs moved to Fort Belvoir and Quantico MCB. Purchasing a home now will afford the homebuyer leverage to sell in the future, as demand and prices are expected continue to increase at a steady pace. When comparing a Buy vs. Rent scenario in our area, military personnel often choose to buy due to the low selection and high prices of rental housing. Consequently, there is also the confidence of knowing that a property can be easily rented should you receive PCS orders to a different station.

Susan Borrelli Real Estate is aligned with USAA and Navy Federal military home buying programs. Our military clients receive all the same benefits of these programs coupled with the advantage of working with Realtors that know the area well because they live, work and play in the area surrounding Fort Belvoir!
